People make the space.
We want a community that welcomes differences, where freedom to speak goes hand in hand with respect for those listening.

We can disagree and still share a space. That takes boundaries everyone understands and responsibility shared by all.
Respect, without pretence
Treat others as people, not names on a screen. Disagreement is welcome; threats, harassment, repeated insults and fraud are not forms of expression.
Freedom to connect includes the right to stop
Everyone may choose whom to talk to and end an unwanted conversation. Do not keep contacting someone after rejection or use another account to evade a block.
An adult community with clear boundaries
Ajyal is for adults aged 18 and over. Exploitation, harassment and any harm to children have no place here. Binding rules and reporting steps are in the Terms and Safety pages.
Managing a room means responsibility
Room owners and moderators look after the space and apply its rules clearly; they must not use authority to settle personal disputes. Room permissions do not grant access to private conversations.
